Therapy

Shashtik Shali Pind Swedana

Boluses of Shashtika rice cooked in milk and herbal decoction, the most nourishing fomentation in Ayurveda, and the most labour-intensive to prepare.

What it is

A specific sixty-day rice is cooked in milk and Bala decoction, tied into boluses, and applied warm while being continuously re-dipped in the warm milk preparation.

What it helps

Muscle wasting, neurological weakness, post-stroke rehabilitation, muscular dystrophy, chronic fatigue and emaciation. It builds tissue where other treatments only relieve pain.

What to expect

A long, warm and deeply restorative session. Because preparation is intensive, sessions are booked in advance as a planned course.
