Pregnancy Care

Ayurvedic care through pregnancy and recovery, safe therapies, nutrition and herbal support for mother and baby.

Care across all three trimesters

Ayurveda has a detailed month-by-month framework for pregnancy (Garbhini Paricharya), covering what to eat, how to live and which therapies are appropriate at each stage. Care is adjusted as the pregnancy progresses rather than given as a single plan at the start.

Common complaints

Nausea, constipation, acidity, back and pelvic pain, swelling, disturbed sleep and anxiety all respond well to Ayurvedic management, using approaches that are safe in pregnancy.

Safety first, always

Only therapies and medicines established as safe in pregnancy are used, and treatment is coordinated with your obstetric care rather than replacing it. Dr. Megha will tell you plainly when something is outside the scope of Ayurvedic management and should be seen by your obstetrician.

After delivery

Postnatal care (Sutika Paricharya) addresses recovery, strength, digestion and lactation during the critical weeks after birth, the period Ayurveda considers most decisive for a mother’s long-term health.

Alongside Garbhsanskar

Many patients combine clinical pregnancy care with the Garbhsanskar programme, which addresses the emotional and spiritual dimension of the same nine months.
